The 898 model portable pitching mound is a state of the art ultra-wide portable pitching mound for practicing pitching training at the junior level at 8" high. This has an extended length and width from the smaller models and provides a full length stride for pitchers. This mound is particularly great for players transitioning from 6" to 10" mound. Its made of durable weatherproof fiberglass material that will last for years. The contoured design and MLB-style slope is straight from the MLB rulebook and provides the perfect recommended angle for pitchers to throw strikes and pick off players with confidence.
The 8" mound height is perfect angle for junior pitchers ages 10 to 14. The integrated 6" x 24" rubber launch pad provides better push off and protection from wear and tear.
